Hey y’all! It been a minute … or ya know like 3 months lol

I am so glad to be back on your Insta feed slapping my shades on my face and making an utter fool of myself (and having fun doing it).

I will be tackling some frequently asked questions in this blog post and hopefully it answers a question you had in your mind that was similar.

Why did you take a break?

As many of you know, I took a break for surgery and recovery and I wanted to let you know that it went very well. My battle isn’t over yet but this was a huge step towards it. I will be having another surgery next year but the recovery will not be as long as this one.

Why was your break a few months?

I’ll be honest, I could’ve been back 3-4 weeks after my surgery but a few things hindered that for me. One was that this surgery came with a lot of lifestyle changes for me including different eating and food restrictions, adding more exercise to my day, and altering my perspective with food and how it affects multiple of my diagnoses. I need time to deal with the overwhelming changes I had. Second reason was my husband is still laid off and the financial struggle and stress has been affecting me and my family a lot and was triggering my severe anxiety and depression. My priority was being there for my family and to see them through this. On a lighter note, that does also relate so the last statement is I had planned several back end administration things I wanted to tackle before coming back. However, my mental health didn’t allow me. To come back, I literally had to apply for some tester calls and get my butt in gear with tester calls.

What are the things you had planned?

While I won’t share EVERYTHING as I do love doing surprises. I will share this. I was working on a website (which duh you’re on right now), where I can start a blog to share tips, free patterns and updates. I am aiming for 1-2 blog posts a month. Another thing was setting up an email list to help you stay in the know. Again, I won’t be spamming you if you sign up, my goal is 1 email a month to share tester call dates, sales, and sometimes email only freebies. The rest I’ll keep a secret for now.

You look great! What changed?

First of all, thank you! What changed? A shit tonne lol. I shaved my head because I am/will be losing clumps of my hair due to surgery and anxiety could never. Soooo… I took control and decided to shave off my whole head until my hair is healthy enough to grow back or keep it like this because to be friggin honest – I love it. I am also all around healthier, as I said, I have changed my eating routine, taking medication, and exercising. This has also resulted in weight loss when many of you have noticed. Which brings me to my next point, if you see me in really baggy clothes in my reels and shit, don’t mind it please. I can’t afford clothes right now and my priority is food on the table and a roof over my kid’s head. I was lucky enough to have amazing friends who have helped me with that and let me borrow/buy  me some clothes that can fit me. 🙂 Thanks, friends. I adore and appreciate you so much.

Will you be coming out with more patterns?

Fuck (pardon my french) YES! I have several ideas for patterns and will be releasing 1 pattern or bundle a month. I cannot wait to share them and other products I have planned with you.

Will more Stella’s Monsters be coming?

Also a yes! My daughter and I have been working on several monsters, pets, and accessories to add to the Stella’s Monsters brand that we are so excited to share with you. We also have some Stella’s Monsters products planned to come out in the next year! Building Stella’s Monsters with my daughter is such a passion project for us and I hope to one day transfer that brand to her name when she is older. Right now the sales from it helps with her homeschooling and love for coding.

Will you be sharing more photography tips?

YES! So much yes, I am excited for the tutorials and tips I have planned for y’all. I am just trying to get back into the groove and then they will be starting.

I love your painted eyes, will you be selling them?

Unfortunately with the cost of shipping, my financial situation, and one vehicle situation, it is not feasible for me to sell painted eyes. If these hardships change in the future and I can sell them, I will let you know. Thanks for loving them tho!

Will you be posting twice a day like you did before?

As much as I want to, this is no. I need to work on my life and work balance for my health and family. I will be posting consistently so don’t worry about that, it just won’t be everyday. I am aiming for 3 grid posts and 4-6 stories a week. That way I can have time to work on my youtube, blog, homeschooling, health, family and self care. We all need to find a balance and these next few months will be me trying to find what works for me and my family.

If you’ve read this far, THANK YOU! I hope you have a marvelous week, enjoy crocheting, and I hope one of my posts have made you smile.
